Faux Arts is a family run business that offers a full range of arts and crafts activities, classes and events to all ages and to all abilities.
WHAT WE OFFER:
We offer weekly children’s and adult arts courses, ranging from oil painting, ceramic sculpture, life drawing, drawing and painting to one off drop-in sessions for groups and individuals using painted ceramics, fabric painting and painted casts.
We are well known for our renowned “Art with Mummy” courses for pre-school courses as well as our arts fundamental courses for school age children from 5 to Gcse and A’level. We also offer a holiday program to develop art skills, including “Art in the Woods”, and “Art on the Hills”.
Our Drop-In sessions and ceramic painting sessions are available everyday, and we have a fully equipped cafe area where you can enjoy coffee and cake while you work, all home-made and reasonably priced. We also host adult and children’s parties.
Sue Faux who runs Faux Arts, is an experienced artist who has specialised in running workshops, classes and arts projects for 30 years. This means that when you ask for help we can really help.
Faux arts offers workshops to schools, colleges, youth services, hospitals and other organisations, where the scheme of work will be fitted exactly to your remit.
Sue has also exhibited nationally and locally and has art in private collections across Europe, her work can also be bought or commissioned through Faux Arts.
